I have both thick and coarse hair and very tender headed however, the Wonderbrush was surprisingly smooth with detangling my hair. Excellent product!!

LOVE this brush. Works well on my thick, coarse, tight coiled type 4C ethnic hair. Helps with detangling with minimal hair loss. Planning to order 2 more to put into a natural hair gift basket.
